Our Mission

Tea and herbal infusions have always been a passion to me.  As a health professional and tea sommelier, I launched RELeaSeTea, a tea project with the purpose to introduce people to the wonderful world of loose leaf tea and herbs, and to put these delicious and healthy products of nature with all their variaties in flavour and colour in the picture in an enjoyable way. We achieve this by creating high quality organic teablends, herbal infusions and specialTEAs, organizing tea-tastings and -events.

These delicious and exclusive blends are part of the official merch of the international cello rock band Apocalyptica and are sold in favour of the band.

Dear friends, I have some very sad news to share Dear friends, I have some very sad news to share 💔😥 Since August 12th, new European EPR regulations mean that selling outside Belgium now requires different registrations, reporting systems and additional costs for every country where I sell my product. I fully support sustainability and responsible waste management. But as a small Belgian entrepreneur, these rules make it increasingly difficult to simply run my business and pursue my dreams. I am not a multinational with a legal or compliance department. I am simply someone with a passion for tea, trying to build something beautiful with my small business @releasetea Europe speaks about the European Single Market and free movement of goods. But how free is that market when sending a few packages across a border creates such a heavy administrative and financial burden? If there is no physical border, but the administrative border keeps getting higher… how free is that market in practice? For me, this means stopping all my sales outside Belgium. Not because I want to. Not because there is no interest... Quite the opposite. But because the costs and administration are no longer proportional to the revenue. And that hurts deeply. Because it doesn't only mean giving up sales. It means ideas, projects and dreams are being stopped before they get the chance to grow. @ApocalypTEAca is one of those projects, something I have worked on with passion for 11 years, and a concept I still believe has enormous potential. I am not against regulations. I am against regulations that place a disproportionate burden on the smallest businesses. Europe wants to stimulate entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability. Well, then let's make sure small entrepreneurs aren't pushed out by administration and costs. Small businesses deserve a voice too. If you believe in a Europe where sustainability, entrepreneurship, free trade and common sense can go hand in hand: 👉PLEASE SHARE THIS MESSAGE !
