Our Mission

Tea and herbal infusions have always been a passion to me.  As a health professional and tea sommelier, I launched RELeaSeTea, a tea project with the purpose to introduce people to the wonderful world of loose leaf tea and herbs, and to put these delicious and healthy products of nature with all their variaties in flavour and colour in the picture in an enjoyable way. We achieve this by creating high quality organic teablends, herbal infusions and specialTEAs, organizing tea-tastings and -events.

These delicious and exclusive blends are part of the official merch of the international cello rock band Apocalyptica and are sold in favour of the band.

Because yes… ApoTea was born 10 years ago. What began as a small, innocent fan gift slowly grew into a unique piece of merch, and along the way opened the door to countless exciting challenges and beautiful, meaningful projects. Looking back at everything we created together over the past decade honestly left me a little overwhelmed. Wow… these 10 years have given life to a truly special tea collection. Over time, some teas have gently made room for new ones, but we would love to know who among you has shared moments with one or more of our teas, and what those moments meant to you. Hi everyone, please may I introduce you to my new Hi everyone, please may I introduce you to my new page : @elsspandel 🌱 Alongside my tea universe with @releasetea , which has now been growing for ten beautiful years, and in which @apocalypteaca - @apocalypticaofficial 's amazing tea collection - is also an essential part of the story, there is another deep passion that has always guided me : a passion that explains why health is the red thread running through everything I do. For over thirty years, I’ve walked a path where science and intuition meet. As a physiotherapist, osteopath, and therapist specializing in stress-related complaints, I’ve spent decades working with the human body: with its patterns, its remarkable resilience, and its subtle whispers for help long before they become symptoms. 🌱 Throughout my career, one truth became increasingly clear: stress is rarely the real cause of our struggles. It is merely the spark. The deeper story lies in our stress resilience. When that resilience weakens, the body begins to speak louder. 🌱 Over the past ten years, I searched for a healthy balance between my clinical practice and my growing tea journey. In the last three years, the balance has shifted more toward my work as a tea sommelier, yet my love for the human body and for guiding people through the complex landscape of stress remains as strong as ever. 🌱 My work is grounded in evidence-based practice, years of clinical experience, and a deep understanding of the physiology of stress. One of the changes coming is the retirement of our Degustation Box, a beautiful storage tin engraved with the Apo logo, containing 11 small tea pouches, each enough for a few cups or a pot of tea.
